Problems on new kombi collection

Collected my new kombi this afternoon. It was a right mess. Dirty inside. Glue and marks on the bodywork. Kick plates scratched and I’ve found a deep scratch on the wing. It was pouring down with rain on hand over. The general sales manager offered a few freebies. But now I’ve seen the deep scratch. Can I reject it ?

I don't know your rights, but commiserate muchly with you. That is a disgrace from your dealers - I would certainly be kicking up a massive fuss. They should be correcting that scratch and putting the interior to the state that you would expect on picking up a new vehicle that you will have paid ££££ for and probably waited a while for.

Hopefully you pointed out that scratch PDQ so they can't turn round and blame you!
