Hi just a question before go ahead with this, has any had a pop top fitted by Lusso Campers in Leeds, just wanted to know if they are any good and what sort of pop tops that they do, on eBay they say £2000 fitted 🤷‍♂️

Don’t expect too much with a 2K pop top, I wouldn’t even consider it as you be shelling out £££££ to fix the issues later.
If you start of with a decent van you can easily wipe it’s value out with a poor conversion.

Given a top quality pop top such as a SCA roof costs about £6000 for the roof alone, I’d be very wary of anywhere that claims to be able to supply and fit a pop top for £2000 and in a day. According to Sika’s technical guidance, the sealant/adhesive system used (usually Sikaflex 252) to bond pop top frames to the van’s roof panel takes several days to fully cure and the vehicle shouldn’t be moved within 24 hours as a minimum.

Cheers captain, I’m having second thoughts about it now, I had a pop top on my previous van from Kent pop tops done a great job, but realistically I didn’t have it up a great deal, but thanks for the advice much appreciated 👍

I've got a WestDubs pop top on mine, came already fitted when I purchased the van, not had a problem with it so far.
Prices are reasonable too.

That price from Lusso seems too cheap.
We are having one fitted by 8 ball conversions in Beverly.
Great reputation and quality fitting.
They are doing our Austop roof for £3600 inc VAT with standard bed.
If you want a deluxe bed and opening canvas it will be considerably more.

Colin is the owner and I’d highly recommend him.
