Pop top Condensation on roof

Hi all,

I have recently got a pop top installed, a first for myself. It’s a fibreglass with black gel coat. I collected it yesterday, and had a good play with it putting it up and down several times. And finished my play session packing it away and putting it down.
I went out to the van last night to get something, and noticed that whilst the original body of the van was completely dry, the pop top roof was sodden with condensation on top the gel coat.

Is this normal?

Further to this, I think it’s probably completely normal.

It’s just that it’s a flat upward surface and therefore the condensation stays. Just hadn’t noticed it before the poptop.

Mine is carpeted. After using the poptop, I often see condensation on the underside of it where the straps go through the carpet.
