Ply kit or original ply panels

Hi all, just ordered my carpet ready to line. My question is do I use the original ply boards or use a ply kit. I'm not planning on fixing anything to the walls just wondered if it looks neater or anything. Any pics of both carpeted would be great. Cheers

Hello fellow blue nose! During the first lockdown we carpet lined ours over the original panels using invisible clips for a smooth finish. The panels aren't load bearing. All is well 4/5 years on. The clips were from Harrison Trim. Sorry don't have any pictures.
