Pluscenter Head Unit

Anyone tried the Pluscenter A18 PRO in my T6.1?

Looking at the Pluscenter A18 PRO Android unit (4GB RAM, 64GB storage, Octa-Core, with 4G SIM) for my Transporter T6.1. Spoke to their customer service and they say it’s fully compatible, but just wondering if anyone here has actually installed one or looked into it?

Curious to know:

How does it perform?

Does it fit the dash properly without messing around?

Are the steering wheel controls and CANBUS stuff all working ok?

And does it work with the factory reversing camera?


Any thoughts or feedback would be much appreciated before I go ahead and order. Cheers!

Hi, I looked online for any info about these units, here are a couple of reviews I found...

"Was sent a head unit with the wrong wires. Which they did sort out. When the unit was fitted (by a professional auto electrician), the warning lights on the dashboard lit up, and the blowers and air con wouldn't work. As soon as it was detached the lights went away and everything worked. Clearly a faulty unit. Have emailed to return and get a refund, but the replies I got were short and salty, offering no real help. Now they aren't even replying. Avoid. Not worth it."

"My phone, dash cam and USB drive all work seamlessly together. Switching between different audio sources is quick. Bluetooth connection stays stable even on bumpy roads. The USB ports charge devices quickly too."
