Ah, Memories of leaving the dryrobe type coats (Red are far betterer) out to 'air' to get rid of the smell. Top tip, cool tumble dryer with those tumble dryer sheets works well.

I think it's a bit mixed. All mine are done with a Samsung S24 with no filters, just ss nature intended. Some decent pictures throughout this thread and wondering if these are all taken with cameras or phone cameras. Asking as my current phone is 5 yrs old now so looking for possibly a used Samsung S24 Ultra or similar spec Android camera with a phone attached?![]()
Majority of mine are on DSLR. My old camera phone was a Samsung S7. Once some of my important apps stopped being supported I upgraded to a Google Pixel 8. Development of AI assistance in phone cameras is amazing over the last few years. Pixel cameras are very good but you will notice an improvement on any modern phone camera when you compare it to your 5 year old model. Some decent pictures throughout this thread and wondering if these are all taken with cameras or phone cameras. Yes from Pole bank, it was a wild night towards Wales crystal clear towards Brum black skys with lightningSouth Shropshire Hills?
Stunning scenery.
I watched the storm from west Shropshire.
In comparison to film cameras of old and early digital cameras, most modern mobile cameras can deliver quite fantastic picture quality and I would be very surprised indeed if the Samsung S24 didn't fall into that category. I use a three year old S21 which delivers very sharp and well exposed pictures almost every time. That said, I do miss the lack of flexibility offered by the built in lenses. I'm an Associate of The Royal Photographic Society but after 35 years of using very high end camera on the job and in my leisure time (mostly 35mm and medium format 'pro standard' film cameras and full frame DSLRs), I now find myself in the position of not even owning a DSLR or mirrorless camera as I decided a while ago that I didn't want to lug heavy and / or bulky camera gear around any more. My camera of choice nowadays is a very small Sony RX1000vii which delivers quite astonishing picture quality compared to the old days and all in a tiny package - although I don't carry it around with me all the time, it does make a brilliant travel camera. That said, most of the time a mobile will do.Some decent pictures throughout this thread and wondering if these are all taken with cameras or phone cameras.
