Petrol T6 No More?

Not wanting to start rumours but I read on Facebook this morning the petrol T6 is no more? Apparently no more orders are being taken?

Surely it’s too soon for VW to make this decision?

Last week I did check German site and plenty petrol multivans, but today none!!!

I suspect you cant order anything right now... happens this time of year as they prepare for MY19.

That would make more sense... I wouldn't have thought they would ditch the petrol model that quickly!

On the UK VW commercial website you currently can’t spec any Transporter Panel Van within their configurator.

Some changes are afoot I guess.

You can’t order the passenger carrying vehicles anymore; Caravelle, shuttle and California, in petrol, but you can still order commercials. But watch this space!

I suspect they have a more efficient petrol engine going in the T6 for next year, maybe the mk7 gti engine

They are switching to mode year 19 at present so you can’t order anything!
