Lovely design

Looks good mate!

Please be aware that prices of material have doubled this past year.

If anyone is interested, then I’ll price them up accordingly.

I have both the small and the large fire pit...... ( They are awesome btw )

From the early days before the radius corners were introduced.

@evans1089

Any reason why I can't just get the grinder on mine (standard steel) and round off the corners?

If so, what the spec on the radius and what corners are done?..... Just the feet bases?

I would do each corner while your at it mate. It'll only help.
Repaint it with the heat paint afterwards. Otherwise the corners will rust.

Has anyone found a mat or base that works? I’ve tried an Amazon one and it burned, I tried a stove protector one but that burned!

Looking around and can’t find anything that I think will a) not just burn itself b) won’t just get really hot and blacken the grass anyway

I've been using a couple of pieces of broken roof tile for the feet .. well four peices.

Just stand pit feet on tile, on mat.

That stops the direct heat from the pit legs burning the mat.

And offers good heat blocking from radiated heat downwards.

I'm tempted to try a stainless plate.
Something that may be elevated off the grass is a winner.

Steel will transfer heat.?

The ceramic or stone tile helps calm the heat transfer.
