they're currently quite a snug fit as i didn't want them too 'baggy'/much movement so they didn't scratch.
that said i think there's probably enough give in the material to allow for an extra plate.

and while i'm here and to keep everyone interested updated:
my apologies to everyone waiting for the delay - having a few supplier 'issues' so had a very good meeting with an alternative supplier yesterday, hoping for a second (and final) sample and price early next week. at which point we can progress and start getting these made up!
