Overseas Parking - 1 Week

Hi there

I'm planning a trip in my van to Italy in June. I'm wanting to park and leave the van for maybe a week around Genoa, Lake Garda or Verona whilst I travel to south Italy by train to meet some friends for a few days. On return I will head north into Austria.

Has anyone done something similar and is it safe to do so? Also does anyone have any recommendations?

I would say secure parking would be fine.
Only you can decide whether you think the train station car park is safe enough for your van. I’ve not toured Italy so don’t know.
We left our van at Bodo airport car park in Norway for four days while we sailed up to Tromso then flew back.
Van was waiting for us when we got back with all the food still nice and cold in the fridge thanks to the solar panel.
