Number plate lights

So having had trouble with my indicators flashing fast on dash and a bulb fault showing but working normally externally, could the problem be these number plate lights/bulbs
They look like LEDs but would this cause an indicstor bulb fault
Would they have been LED from factory?

Led's in the indicator circuit would cause it , number plate lights shouldn't.
