Noise behind dash and limp mode

Hi, just had a noise start behind the dash almost a wearing noise like a damaged speedo part then it went into limp mode with yellow engine and coil symbols lit up.
T6 4motion 66 model
Anyone had similar?
Awaiting AA
Thanks
Also recommendations for T6 specialist as Preston commercial VW have been shocking.

Can’t help but sounds similar to my old X3 ...intercooler hose blow off due to EGR valve blocked. And gave turbo symptoms...but I now use Liverpool van Center :)

I had cylinder head failure/ coolant loss at 40k, replaced head under warranty. I had questioned if there likely to be other issues knock on due to the coolant loss through either cylinders or worse engine oil contamination and they avoided any response. Now seems there is but 3.5 years old van so out of warranty.
Going to be an interesting conversation with Preston commercial this morning..

Be interested in the out come.....mines just 2 yrs old and try to run it as efficiently as possible to ensure the likes of EGR and other emissions related cheat devices work... Let’s hope you get it sorted ;)

If there had been any issues with the cylinders they would have seen that when replacing the head. Had the oil emulsified when you noticed the coolant loss?

Emulsified oil as standard on filler with these‍♂️
Original diagnosis was egr, 2 months, one new egr and several liters of coolant later it was diagnosed with cracked head.
They wouldn't be clear if it was loss to the cylinders or oil but all have potential to deteriorate bearings and turbo in my thinking.
In total they had my van for 3 months 18 months ago for head and egr. It covered 1500 miles with coolant loss issue with the advice safe to drive before cracked head diagnosed.
Turbo failure now 26k and 18 months later and now out of warranty

I meant on the dipstick. If you're losing several litres of coolant into the oil, the level would rise and the oil on the dipstick would look like magnolia paint. I'll be interested in the outcome.

Hi Chris. I'm new to T6 ownership and live in Preston. Wasn't impressed with Preston Van Centre when looking. If you get any recommendations I would be interested. Dave

Hi, never had it on the dipstick but was regularly on the filler cap before the head replacement but don't seen to get it on the filler cap now which is very suspicious.
The dealership had a memo that the white sludge was perfectly normal on this engine

Dealership now saying that a failed cylinder head and damaged EGR was very unlikely to have contributed to turbo fatigue..
Looking like I should take it to someone else and then take them to court with their findings because a turbo should not fail at 64000 . And they have been responsible for all work.
Shocking response from a company that has cost me 1000s in lost revenue due to my mobile workshop being off the road for several months so far with issues
