Hi everyone, just wanted to share how I finally sorted a major electrical headache on my 2019 T6.1, hopefully it helps someone else out.
The Symptoms:
Total communication failure. The van wouldn't start and the BCM (Body Control Module) was completely "bricked"—it had power but was basically a zombie, not talking to any other part of the van.
The Cause:
It all came down to a major voltage drop. My battery never even hit 12V, and that low power caused the BCM to lock up and lose its "handshake" with the Engine ECU.
The Fix :
A specialist used an Autel scanner to do what he called a "Digital Defibrillation." He basically forced a hard reset on the BCM microprocessor to wake it up. Once it was "alive" again, he re-synced it with the ECU and cleared all the deep critical faults that my basic code reader couldn't see.
