Help my dash is lit up like christmas

Hi all
I was away 2 weeks ago and got a random flat battery, nothing was left on, got a jump start and van was fine. Yesterday I went out and the battery was flat, again nothing on and the leisure power was all at off on switch, and be charged the battery up and it starts first time. The problem is my windows won’t work and the dash is lit up like a Christmas tree!! have done the steering wheel left, right and centre, I’ve done a drive round our large block! Any other ideas, I’m meant to be going away on Friday!! Many thanks you lovely lot

Check all fuses perhaps? Maybe a parasitic draw somewhere? Check the Earth from battery to chassis?

It may be worth testing the battery with a DC voltage meter and compare what you get turned off and what it is with the engine running before getting a new battery. Some garages maybe able to do a battery health check for you.

Thanks I did have a battery health check done when I was away and they said the battery was good! It’s a mystery, thanks for replying

Can you tell how old the battery is? Once they get to about 5 years old they’re on borrowed time! IMHO

Hi, yes the battery is knackered!! On order, and faults all reset!! Fingers crossed all is ok, thanks for all your advice
