Nightbreaker bulb (lamp) replacement on THQ Unit - I need help!

This should be simple, but I cant work out how to get the original bulb off the connecter from the THQ headlamp unit.

I there a knack to it, I need to release the gold connector from the bulb, it's not sliding off easily and don't want to end up breaking the connectors through brut force.

Any help appreciated.

I presume you mean the standard h7 bulb? I held the bulb firm into the holder then pulled off the connector block from the back. You need to hold the bulb firm so your not pulling on the retaining clips.
