Newbie Looking For Ideas

Hi all
Just purchased a t6 highline kombi. All toyed up as it was an ex demo.
It's a twin slider, I'm looking to stick a pop top on it for the kids and a full size rock and roll on rails for me and the Mrs.
Not sure about storage.
Anyone out there with something similar that I can get some inspiration from.

Hi Andy,
Yeah, nice looking van. Was sorely tempted to go for red but went for a safe white in the end. Twin side doors limit space for storage, sinks hob etc, unless you decide to not use the side on the drivers side. Pop top in black would look full on.
Uber bus do a full on rock and roll bed on rails, just be wary the floor has to be raised 25mm (i think) to accommodate the sunken rail system, but that is what i am saving for. I did compensate for it by buying a deeper pop top. I've got a 3/4 bed which is more than adequate, and this gives you plenty of options down the driver side for sink, hob, storage etc.

Hi @Andy1927 I have a white Kombi with twin sliders and a Hilo roof. Rather than a rock and roll bed we use an Exploria Kombi bed.
Currently looking at adapting the front legs of the Kombi bed so that I can install a Caravelle rail floor but still have the Kombi bed, as i’d not be able to store all the stuff I need to under a Caravelle triple seat/ bed and multi flex board.

Hi gary gary.
Im not looking to put a sink and hob in.
Had a t4 with side units sink and hob but never really used it. Did all my cooking in the awning.
Did have a 3/4 bed that me and the mrs kicked s##t out of each other in, which is why i want a full width bed.
Ill check out the uber bus site. Cheers.

Cheers davey.
I'll check out the exploria bed, sounds like it could be an option. I need the rails though because on occasion i will need to carry a load of tools.
Have you got any pics i can check out.

Have a look through my build thread below mate. I’ve done exactly what you’re looking for.

I have neither the time or skill to have done a conversion myself. We got Uberbus to do ours. We went for their "beach" conversion, with rib bed on rails and high-lift poptop. It sounds a lot like what you are looking for:

Sliding seat/bed, low storage, we opted for a top loading fridge and cook outside. Worth checking out their site. If it sounds interesting I'll happily dig out some photos (I've posted a few here in the past if you fancy digging around)

Cheers @GoatBoater .
I'm in Poole in a few weeks, I think I'll call into Uberbus and have a chat. The beach conversion us very similar to what I'm looking for.
