Hi, very excited to be picking up a new (pre reg) Kombi in indium grey tomorrow! The van is to replace my car so will be my everyday drive as well as mtb/camping/festival bus. I’m just going through the process of sorting insurance and wondered who everyone uses? Most places I’ve tried don’t seem to offer reasonably priced insurance for a van being used purely for social/domestic/pleasure.

Thanks Russ. I’ve actually gone with Brentacre. £570 with my girlfriend as named driver, which at 43 and no points seems a bit steep but it’s my first van and after a nasty spill from my motorbike in 2015 I was expecting it to be a bit high.

Mines about that too. £200 cheaper than the closest comparison site through. Yes A plan is another safe bet too.
