Hi all, I've just found that my 1 year old tyres are shagged, the plys are separating on the inner tyre walls. I obviously don't want Mr Plod feeling my collar, so I'm after some 255/35/20 102w or similar.

Father Christmas told me to F**k off when I asked if he wanted to pay for them, so I'm not looking to break the bank!

I live near Farnborough but I'm prepared to travel a little for the right deal.

Many thankies in advance :D

Any good tyre shop should be able to sort you out!

Royal Black are load rated in that size!

ROYAL BLACK 255/35/20 103W Tyres ordered from ProTyre in Bracknell, £365.32 all in.

Thanks for the tip, Paul :)

How do you find the ride on 255/35?

I’m currently undecided between 255/35 and 245/40 on a set of Navis wheels (9J width)

I'd be very wary of cheap tyres in that size and the fact that no well known company makes them with that load rating.

They're not bad tyres at all, Royal are a known make. The ride is as you would expect, fine on flat tarmac and challenging over bumpy surfaces. As for their longevity, time will tell.
