New T7 Sportline.

Sorry, missed this @BuilderJay. Standard SWB in red. The Sportline spec is pretty comprehensive as standard, and as always, VW’s options are limited when they first release anything. There wasn’t much on the options that took my fancy TBF.
Any indication on delivery times?

I’ll find out on Tuesday officially, but the provisional was early January. But as it’s a no optional extra order, there’s every chance they’ll switch a pre-order in for November when my current lease is up. I’ll let you know for sure on Tuesday though Buddy. 👍🏻

The new Transporter @Sasquatch 😀 has really grown on me. I saw a new Transit in cornflour blue with the MSRT kit and it looked awesome. I would still take the VW though if I ever had that kind of money.

Id take the VW for the 5 year warranty and service package.

I could have held on, but theres always next years trim, upgrade, or new model to wait for. Decided to just dig my heels and and buy a 6.1 rather than keep making excuses to wait.

Many Thanks to Chris down at JCB SITTINGBOURNE.
He bent over backwards to allow me to photograph the Limited Edition (No.30 out of the Total of 75 made in Moss Green).
It only came in today so right place at the right time.
Build quality ain’t bad TBH.
Anyway, here’s some photos.

Yep thats a bit of me ❤️

I keep looking at pics of these, the ford transit custom and ford Tourneo custom and each throws up different things. How come in my Tourneo custom, titanium full electric, I can get what I would call full electric front seats passenger and driver yet what I see in this sportline is a keep fit lever on driver seat. Compare the MRST and it has electric driver seat typically but keep fit passenger! Don't get me started on the combo of middle and rear seat offerings between shuttle and Tourneo including singles, two seater benches and three seater benches! Then there's the sliding rails or no sliding rails! I guess each to their own and need to way up pros and cons but seems like so many unnecessary options! Not sure it can actually be cost effective!

That looks nice, although I'd doubtless upset folk by peeling off the gaudy grille stripe and special edition stickers if it were mine. After all, if you'd just paid £60k - or whatever - for one you're harldy likely to need reminding of the model! That sort of thing brings to mind the tactics car dealers used in the 70s and 80s, jazzing up slow selling vehicles with special edition pinstrips and steekers.

Thanks for taking time to take and post pics.
I’ve got to admit I’m starting to like the front end and like the interior and dash but will always hate the arches and the rear quarter panel flick.
It’s also just a transit from the back and there’s nothing you can stick to that that’s going change that.
