Collect my Edition Kombi 150 manual on Thursday.

My journey - ordered a Highline start of July. Decided I needed LEDs. Price with options took it into Edition money so cancelled the Highline and ordered an Edition!
Edition turned up in mid September but without the electric doors I specified which I rejected. Ordered another one which I pick up this week! I have been using the wrongly ordered van while waiting, so the new van experience won’t be the same.

Won’t be doing any mods to it other than chrome grille trims! It will be a work and family vehicle.

Merry Christmas!

That's brilliant that your dealer let you use the incorrectly ordered van whist a new one was being built. To my mind, that's way above and beyond customer service, and i've read loads of examples where people didn't get what they ordered, and just had to wait for another one to be built, without the use of an interim vehicle, so big points to your dealer

As for the grill, I assume you mean to make it look like a Caravelle grill?
There have been several members that did this, only to change to a genuine Velle grill in the end, because the chrome trims either didn't last, to they looked poor. The genuine VW grill isn't really that expensive, and comes Gloss Black too. Fitting one is front bumper removal, but it's not difficult.

They were going to rent the van to me at a reduced rate, but they couldn't sort the paperwork out so they said they would waiver it. Result!
