Moving from normal 20 inch alloys to Swamper wheels?

Thinking of changing my 20 Matt black VW alloys (purchased new with the van) to Swamper wheels. Pretty fed up with the hard ride over the vast amount of potholes on our roads now, and the amount of punctures that I’ve had recently. Perhaps I’m wrong, but could this be the way to go?
Not sure where to start, advice welcomed please?

Seen from an unbiased observer, the consensus here looks like being 235/65/17. Many use steelies.
Mild A/T tyres like the Falkens should give you all the protection and the riding confort you need. Added advantage of being passable all year tyres too. You will get possibly a little more rolling noise and of course less dry/wet braking and cornering performance than your wider 20s.
Fitting or not will depend on how much lower you are if anything.

Thank you, sizes noted. My van hasn’t been lowered it’s all quite standard (Kombi). I would like the wheel arches to look filled though, no gaping gaps around the wheels etc…

You will find plenty of pictures in this forum in threads like - show me your 17" or so on.

I am having exactly the same thoughts. Comfort over looks. To be honest I was thinking of a set a Davenport’s. They look nice with a set of AT tyres too.

Agree. Devonports, great wheels. They look good with everything.
