MOT and Serving in Liverpool / Merseyside

Hi

New to the camper world! Pick our T6.1 up soon and just after some recommendations for decent MOT / Service garages.

How much are services for T6.1 / 150bhp 2ltr diesel on average? It's a 72 plate.

Not used them myself, but if you're looking for main dealer servicing, Liverpool Van Centre in Speke seem to get decent feedback on here... unlike the outfit in Manchester.

Last June, I paid £370 + VAT for a main dealer service at West Yorkshire Van Centre. That was for an inspection, oil change, oil filter, pollen filter and brake fluid change on a 72 plate 150 DSG.

Briefly I have seen them mentioned, the one in Speke, as well so that speaks volumes about them.

Will give them a look and consideration, I work near there as well so that's pretty convenient.

Get the all in one plan. Servicing, MOT's, Breakdown and Warranty all included for a fixed monthly fee. No brrainer when on offer but even full price gives peace of mind for the next 2 years.

Another one here for VW in Speke. I was in the same scarnario as you when I got mine, I just take it down to them. Been happy so far with them.

I think Manchester is better than it was. I was in last week for the last time as my all in plan comes to an end. They did the service and mot, got a glow plug fault covered without me having to argue with them. Also they currently offer free diagnostics which in the past they wanted £150 for.
