Hello, this is our new van, Michael or dick. Not sure which to call it yet

It’s the incredibly slow 84hp version and seems to be limited at 80mph.

Just drove the 500 miles
Home from South Wales in it and tbh, it was fun!

1st transporter I’ve ever sat in let alone owned and was suprised at how high the seating position is and how little of the bonnet you can see. But all good.

It’s fully converted inside, ready to glamp!

‘Plans’ for it are;
Remap
Coilovers
Touch up the handles and wing mirrors with fake carbon sticky on stuff
Upgrade the head unit
Add roof rails
Add a tow bar
Possibly a rear bike rack
Install a rear view camera
Enjoy it for what it is

Hi.. Glamp it first. that’s a cheap option. put your stamp on it the rest will come in time ( but if you change door cards do the speaker upgrade at same time save on pulling the van apart twice ) ….however Glamping can prove expensive …We just got a Tipi tent and the wife’s gone mad on the interior..buts that’s all part of the fun….Enjoy your van

We’re away up the nc500 next weekend for a week. Not camping but just taking the van. In November we’ll head to the lakes for 2-3nights then we’ll really see what we’re made of haha
