Merano wheels and tyres

T6: 17” Merano

Hi I am new to group.
I have Transporter T6.1 - 2023 Model , DSG , bought 10 days ago. City Van full windows 1+4 seats
I have applied to official dealer where I bought the van and they advised 17" Merano Alloys for my van as van arrives with steel wheels only.
But When I searched over internet and here I noticed that tyre type for winter tyres ? Can I not use this Merano Wheels with summer tyres or 4 seasons tyres ? This wheels are produced only for winter season ? I dont get it
Any help ?

Of course, you can get any tyre, which will fit 17” wheels

Thanks mate , but problem is , MERANO alloys is listed Winter alloys and my van has tyre etikette next to driver seat stating as foll
215/60 R17C 104/102 H M&S
215/60 R17C 109/107T (104H)
my question is if I have to use exact specific tyres as above with Merano alloys ? for example i found some tyres like 215/60 R17C 109/107 T but does not include (104H) mark and i worry about it incase some issue with van and insurance say my tyres 109/107 t but does not include (104H) mark together. Because there are only 1 or 2 tyres with full marking like 215/60 R17C 109/107T (104H)

The H will be the speed rating, the 109/107 will be the load rating. If your van is a T32 then minimum of 865kg for wheels, I’m sure it’s the same for tyres. Look for tyres with load rating and speed rating to suit your van. H is 130mph, I think your good with H lol
