Media centre swap to Discovery Pro with sat nav

Hi everyone.
I have just picked up my T6.1 and didn't go for the discovery media upgrade as at £1,400 + VAT it was a bit over the top.
Now I have as a runabout an eGolf which comes with the big screen as standard. It seems daft having a car with a range of 150 miles to have European sat nav and a diesel van without.
Is it a big deal to swap the two screens and what about the DVD player? Where is the sat nav information stored?

In the golf there's a mib unit in the glove box that and the screen along with relevant wiring but be aware alot of the golf settings are accessed through this unit and it's not a straight swap also if you have virtual cockpit I believe it's an integral part of that but not 100% sure on the golf electronics to be honest as I don't venture much outside the caddy and transporter world.
