LWB layout

Hi everyone looking for advice for LWB layout for my future first build. Have went from wanting the side kitchen unit with rock and roll or rib bed to now moving more towards the u shape option. but... I want some boot space for equipment ect and most u shaped layouts I have seen go all the way to the back with no space for my stuff. wondering if anyone knows or has any ideas I can figure this out. Thanks

Our van has a side kitchen and an RnR bed, but behind the bed is a hexply bulkhead incorporating shelving (with tie-down points and web strapping to keep things in place)...

In a LWB van, I don't see why you couldn't have a u-shaped set-up in front of such a bulkhead.

We went U-shape as we don’t need seatbelts in the back. Makes a massive comfy bed, 2 settees effectively and the back locker which can be accessed from the back is pretty big. We store a porta potti, electric cable, chairs, tools, mallet, walking boots etc in there,

A company called Creative Camperz in Elland, West Yorkshire did the roof, windows, sound deadening, insulation and carpeting.

I did the rest myself with flooring and furniture from Van Furniture. Did the electrics myself, Fogstar lithium battery and Victron DC and Solar, Transporter HQ fridge.

Finished off with hellishly expensive but decent Van Shades. 😂
