That's the way to do it @PukkaT6 , I just bugger off most Fridays on my own, teenage daughter not interested !! and decide last minute on location. Have two storage boxes always packed, so just throw them in the van and scarper .

Don't lock with the remote, use the button on the drivers door by the mirror adjuster.

Re alarm, you can use the key fob but make sure you unlock with the key rather than just open the side door from the inside!!!

Sometimes the alarm went off when I stood up - tried to turn sensors off on the pillar but it just felt like nothing was happening.
