Looking to buy a T6 - advice re Minimum rear seatbelt length?

Hello everyone - am looking to buy a used T6 LWB 17 reg and would LOVE some advice! we have two children 7 and 5. The van we’re looking at has two seat belts across the rear bench but not sure if they’re long enough? The dealer said they were 103cm fully extended. Any advice on what a standard size is? Our oldest is 130cm, and both are heavy enough to have a booster rather than a car seat. Thanks so much!

Welcome to the forum @timrd000

It might help if you can tell us which model of rear bench is fitted, there are a lot of options out there.

I must admit I've never heard anyone here mentioning that seat belts were not long enough for children - and therefore adults - what use would they be if so - so your question seems a little strange?

Hi @timrd000
As @roadtripper mentioned, it is a strange question and makes me wonder what rear seat type you have.
Any standard VW seat will have ample belt length for all but the largest adults so, your comment about the fit suggest a non-standard seat?
This in itself might not be an issue however, some aftermarket seats and belts are not be manufactured, tested and/or installed to the same safety standard.
Please pop a picture on here of the seat. If there are any concerns or known issues with what you have, I'm sure you'd want to know.

Also, feel free to post on the Welcome new members section and, assuming that you have bought the van, you can post a picture of the van in the relevant "Show us your T6" section too. It's always good to see more vans, especially the better LWB versions...;)
