Limp Mode -fuel pressure

I have a 2012 T5.1 2.0 BiTdi DSG 4motion that runs beautifully until you go over 3000 rpm. The VCDS error is that the actual fuel pressure is less than the expected fuel pressure, and this only occurs a littler over 3000rpm. I have had the high pressure pump tested, i have replaced the fuel pressure regulator. If i drive carefully it will never go into limp mode and have done 35000 km with it like this. on the open road at 120km/h I average less than 9l/100km.
I am not keen on getting VW agents involves as they seem to replace everything until it works and bill you for the lot.
