Led Controllers

It's time to sort my lighting strips for the back door so I have a metre of addressable colour led so need a controller but nowt seems to work with this, so if I need to buy new lights, what's the best controller flavour? Dmx512, ZigBee?any others to consider?

Any recommendations chaps and chapesses?

Depends on what strip it is WS2811 or WS2812b? or something else

They're 5050 @Deaky ip65 chopped off the end of a 5m strip.

5050 is the led chip. What is the addressable IC?

Thanks Deaky, I have 6 LEDs per section, and yes it's sort of like this.

with the 3 pin set up. I also found out today that neither LED hut or hi line stock controllers for this type of strip
