Leaking Kombi Windows? How-to guide to resolve.

Can anyone advise how to remove the full OEM glass panel from the van without the need of a centre punch? The slider mechanism seems to limit access top and bottom to get a cheese wire in!

I have a pair of OEM plain windows I’d like to fit instead of the sliders! My situation is complicated by the fact I have OEM rear quarter glass too so need to match the tint.
Posted elsewhere about a company changing them for me - cheese wire to get them out 2 person job!

Can anyone advise whether there's an alternative T6 campervan opening side window that can be fitted in place of the OEM, ideally I'd like to fit a simple push our opening window on the drivers/cooking side.

Have a look for safari windows

So I've been through all the posts here and can't find any drain holes in the gutter between the window and sliding channel.

Anyone done this fix with a t6.1 and can offer some advice, the windows look slightly different.

Edit:

Investigations would lead me to believe, there are no drain holes to the outside along the yellow highlighted area in my photo. Instead it drains from the yellow area into the window channel via the pink highlighted hole and then backwards towards the blue highlighted drain.

The issue being to drain to the pink hole it needs to be pointing downhill, to drain to the blue it needs to be uphill, hence it leaks 🤷‍♂️

Anyone get any further than this, or found a solution?

Edit: posted in the t6.1 thread dam Google didn't bring that one up, sorry

Another issue is the blue highlighted drain hole is only 2/3 the width of the channel, biased towards the outside of the car. The window slopes onwards so as water drains along the window channel it totally misses the blue drainage hole...

It then all builds up at the end and the waterfall appears...

One of the windows on my t6.1 sliding door leaks only when the van is parked on an uphill slope, on a downhill slope it doesn’t leak. I keep meaning to investigate this but haven’t got around to it. Is yours the same @Joey7415963 ?

A regular clean of the rubber and application of something like autoglym vinyl and rubber usually gives it some resistance!

Oh my findings are it leaks whatever, but tbh it leaks more parked downhill, that's why the majority of water staining is towards the front of the van on mine 😢
