Lancaster Motorhomes & Caravans

We ordered/payed for a new factory spec swift caravan from them, waited 3-4 months, what they gave us on pick up day was a 6 month old caravan they had as their display/demo caravan.
I questioned them, said it looked like the demo van, pointing at the empty space where they display the van indoors,
He said no, no that was picked up by
the customer earlierin the week..
All staff lied to our faces telling us it was a new delivery from factory, all the faults and damage was how it came from factory…

We had a very similar experience - had their demo model sold to us as 'brand new, factory fresh' by Piermann Briggs .
Rejected it straight away .

Bought stuff from West Country motorhomes ....wouldn't touch either of them ever again .

Been made to wait on warranty claims and then had 2nd hand parts fitted , lied to , blagged, fobbed off ...sounds all too familiar.

The only way to stop the charlatans in the industry is to write honest reviews that are factual and not emotionally based and then flag suspicious 5* reviews that pop up within days of any negative comments. These fake reviews are usually very vague and just bull up the sales and after sales team.

I always start reviews with, "This is an account of my experiences with XYZ, accurate to the best of my recollection and my honestly held belief." That pretty much stymied any attempt by the business to get it taken down as untrue etc.
Exactly 🤘🏻😎 in the case of Lancaster Motorhomes and caravans that’s all you can do.

I've had a nightmare with them, I'm not going. Into details but I believe they owe me over 10k in a van that wasn't fit for purpose, I've left the usual Google and trust pilot reviews so hopefully it will help others to steer clear
