Lancaster Motorhomes & Caravans

No personal dealings with this company but online reviews seem a bit hit and miss.
We've dealt with a few caravan/ motorhome places over the years and from experience they are all about as bad as each other .
Happy to take your money and promise you the world , once you've parted with your money they couldn't give a toss .
Make sure you screw them down to everything in writing and then threaten legal proceedings if/when they try to fob you off would be my advice.

Yes, shocking experience, they are not trustworthy
We ordered/payed for a new factory spec swift caravan from them, waited 3-4 months, what they gave us on pick up day was a 6 month old caravan they had as their display/demo caravan.
I questioned them, said it looked like the demo van, pointing at the empty space where they display the van indoors,
He said no, no that was picked up by
the customer earlierin the week..
All staff lied to our faces telling us it was a new delivery from factory, all the faults and damage was how it came from factory…
But they had forgotton to upplate the caravan as we had ordered, I could smell a rat, photographed vin number and went and called swift, it had been delivered to them6months earlier, they will lie to your face, bully you, threaten you with court action,
Your post has brought back bad memories
I hope they haven’t got any of your money.
They are crooks.

Sorry to hear that, but it doesn't surprise me. Initially charming and then it's all deny and deflect when things go wrong :(

The other latest 5 star reviews look fake too as they are vague and new accounts with one and only review then nothing else

Did they create 2000 Review Police positions along with the change in the Law? Even plod can’t keep up with the important stuff let alone the rest of the dros.

Reactions: CAB
I doubt it’s a police matter! It’s civil not under police jurisdiction but under whichever body is set up to “police” it

The Competitions and Markets Authority enforce it, and they have significant powers to levy fines without all that tedious messing about going to court.
