Knocking / grinding noise on start.

Hi all,

A few days ago had a really loud knocking/ grinding noise on start which went away after about 10 secs and since then all engine sounds normal and several starts since and all good.

I have a 204 dsg.

Any known issues that can cause such sounds?

It only happened once, all good since then. Van was sitting for 3 days , never happened before.
