Is my head gasket done?

Hi everyone,

I'd like some opinions please? I'm using coolant at a rate quicker than I'd like, I'm putting coolant in at least once a week. Just had a look under my oil filler cap and seen this....


This van is the T6 150 DSG T32 model and done about 96k. I don't have any signs of coolant leaking anywhere, I'm not leaving puddles of coolant on the floor anywhere. When I next get the van parked on level ground I'll check the oil level again. Last time I checked it seemed to be ok though.

Does anyone have any recommendations for garages in the Oxford or Reading area? I live in the middle of the two so can go in either direction.

Agree with above it’s unlikely to be head gasket, oil mayo in the dipstick tube is common, losing coolant is probably something different

So EGR, DSG or charge air coolers? Need to find a garage that I can trust to do leak tests as I can't do them myself
