Bought a Carista Evo last week and used for the time today so it may well be user error .......
Anyway a friend had a ABS warning light on his Caddy and he called down to try the Carista.
App installed ok but the Carista didn't connect via bluetooth, had to clear all other bluetooth devices and reboot my ipad and after that it connected fine.
The Carista module had a steady blue light and flashing green light, the app showed 1 ECU scanned and 0 faults detected.
The live data was showing so it appears to have been connected to the vehicle.
We then tried an iCarsoft VAWS V1.0 scanner, it immediately identified a left hand rear ABS sensor fault, we replaced the sensor and cleared the fault, all good.
The iCarsoft VAWS V1.0 also detected a faulty glow plug, even indicated the mileage it had been detected at.
The van was also responding to being scanned, the head unit flashed a message and various lights flashed on the instrument cluster, we didn't notice this happening with the Carista.
Does it sound like a faulty Carista unit or am i missing something ?
