Is My Battery On It’s Way Out?

Bit of an odd one but, when I go out to the van and start it up, it fires up straight away. If though, I put the key in, ignition on, then wonder around, locking front door, put the bin out, generally fanny around for a few minutes, then try to start it, it struggles to turn over.

I flattened the battery by mistake in the summer, but didn’t have any problems after that, but this has been creeping in the last few months. Any ideas?

First thing to do is fully charge up the battery with a proper smart charger, then get it tested (if you can) or just see how you go.
