Is It Too Cold To Start Lining?

Only had my van a few weeks and looking to start sound deadening and insulating. Something I am wondering though is it too cold for the adhesive?

I don't want it peel off in time so happy to wait if that's the recommendation?

I did search but couldn't find anything on this topic.

You should be fine, providing that the surfaces are DRY. ie no condensation.

just run the van for 15mins with the blowers on high, that will warm it up.

Did mine during the winter and most converters work over winter. As above should be fine.... Use a small hard roller for the sound deadening to ensure a firm adhesive.

As dellmassive says just make sure it’s dry. Once that stuff goes on it’s not coming off easy

Cheers for the quick answers and links to threads! I did think of doing the front doors and speakers at the same time too!

Had the same issue! Had to take a Stihl saw to the brickwork either side and make it wider and then fitted new doors

I think I'll just do the work on the drive!
