Is it a T6?

Clearly a beginner as I’m not sure how to tell if I have a T6 or other model for ordering parts.
Window blind is stuck fully out in passenger side slide door on caravels, reg starts with VA15….
Also same door lock often doesn’t unlock when rest do/ seems to stick.
So think I need to take off door panel- replace or fix blind and lube door lock mechanism.
Hoping for some advice
Thanks in advance

I’m assuming it‘a a VW vehicle? Just Google t5 / 6 images and you’ll identify which model. It maybe. A Euro 5 engine rather than a pig pee 6 engine is another option.. VIN is another option.. just take plenty of pics and post them here

Sorry- yes it’s a caravels. As it’s a 2015 reg and I see T6 started around then just wasn’t sure. Expect it is a T5 but here is the headlight.

Expecting to need to order some of the fixings before I start taking the door card off.
Any links to useful videos for removing door card and also resolving sticking door lock would be great. Thanks

More precisely, T5.1.
Thanks.
I was looking in to fixing a sticking lock on the passenger side sliding door, and when lifting the blind to look in that way found it won’t retract at all. Stuck now with blind fully out.
Hoping for tips or links to videos for how to remove inside panel of this door, which fixings to order in first as I hear they often break and if a whole new blind cassette is easy to replace.
Thanks for any help.

You need your reg number input that into the government’s checking site for vehicle details and it will give you the model etc and details. Don’t ever go on what it looks like lol as a lot of people will convert transporters into the newer models so you could end up with what looks like a T6.1 but is actually a T5 or T5.1, generally though if yours has ad blue then your a euro6 engine and it will be a T6 or newer. Hope that helps a little

That’s really helpful/ thanks.
Any experience taking off the inside of a sliding door on a caravelle?

As in the plastic trim door card? If you’re taking any trim panels off make sure you get yourself a trim removal tool all local Halfords will sell if not Amazon it or try your local car shop. You’ll have to remove any switches if any at all and work your way around the panel plying the trim tool behind the plastic poppers and one by one it will come off. I’m fairly sure that your caravelle sliding door trim will be similar to most front door trims in the way it’s attached. However I am no expert I’ve only removed my front door cards before.

Thanks again. Yes- have ordered a tool kit and spare clips after reading warnings about them breaking. Looks like can’t remove inner with door closed and hard to get at some of it when open..?
Might have to take it somewhere

Yeah it won’t be easy with the door open but you should be able to get at them from underneath with the door slightly opened. It’s worth having a go and yes the plastic clips are awful as once you’ve popped them they are generally toast. I had to replace a fair few of mine when doing my speakers and sound deadening.

Yeah will be a case of working your way around the outer plastic trim and prizing it off gently at each plastic popper. Make sure all removable trim is taken off that maybe keeping it in place, but yes doing it in the light will help will also reduce the amount of cursing too. If it helps am sure someone will of done a YouTube tutorial, I’m not a huge fan myself as there are way too many YouTube mechanics and modding experts on YouTube that say they know but really don’t.
