Interior Tailgate opener

Not fitted that, but a Momentary Switch will do the same job, for peanuts. Its a DIY job tapping into the rear release wiring.
There is a thread somewhere.....

Thanks yeah, think I'll probably just get this one rather than DIYing it ...

Bought it and fitted it, plugs had a different locating tang on them which annoyed me a bit (that they didn't supply it with the correct plugs) so had to trim them off. Works fine. Nice to have.

Can I just ask, do you have an electric tailgate or just an electric latch?

And Where does the button sit when installed?
Electric both on mine (didn't actually want that as you just know it'll go wrong someday).

Button can go anywhere on the tailgate panel, I have mine top right if I'm inside looking at it.

Need to be careful with uncovered push switches when driving, as if any load moves in the van and pushes the switch it will open the tailgate.
Yeah, appreciate that's a concern. I'd like to think once the van is moving it's clever enough to realise I don't want the tailgate to open ... will have to test that next time I'm on a field.

The OEM release switches are pull to open, part of me thinks thats the reason why.
