Hi All

Being new to both the forum and to modifying my transporter, I wondered what detail you all go to in order to insure your vehicle inclusive of the modifications?

With mine I have struggled to get the companies to list all the modifcations on my actual insurance document, 'because that modification isn't on our system to pick for the vehicle' etc. The best I have managed to achieve is 'I will make a note in the comments section', but I have my doubts if it actually came to it whether they would take notice of this? Do you all get them to note the cost incurred for the modifications?

I would be interested to hear how others deal with this?

Try Brentacre, I found them helpful.

Another for Brentacre. just call them when you do any mods and they add to your details.
Have been really easy to deal with and have just renewed with them.

I am with Brentacre as well, they were spot on and any modification can be added to the policy for free.
