Hi all, just an fyi for those curious about insurance. I have 2022 T6.1 T32 4motion Kombi DSG. No modifications other than new Jerba pop top just fitted insured through LV
LV wouldn’t keep my insurance active with this modification because it’s not a motor home!
Got insurance with Howdens same day as LV cancellation. £439.00 fully comp, protected no claims and one named driver. This price included motor legal expenses. Seems it’s not as easy getting insurance for a ‘day van’ with pop top as you’d think. Couldn’t be bothered calling numerous brokers spending hours on the phone or online to save a few quid tbh. Thought this was a reasonable price.
