Van due an oil change service… is this basically exactly that and nothing else? It’s still under warranty so not sure whether to go main dealer or Indy? My local vw is a Johnson’s but not sure if they do vans yet. Any other recommendations around this way?

This Flexible regime has been made possible due to the development of new Volkswagen engines with the latest technically advanced longlife oil. These engines use built-in sensors that continually monitor the oil quality, making it possible to enjoy reliable and confident motoring for up to a maximum of 18,000* miles or 24 months (whichever occurs first).

*Please note that all mileages are approximate as the service indicator system uses kilometres as the distance measurement.

Most vans are set to Long-Life 18000mls/24mnths by the dealer.... But I've noticed if you play with the MFD it defaults back to 12000mls/12mnths (which I've done twice now....oops!)

Thanks that's useful.. however I'm still not sure what service its asking for.. is "Oil change service" the same as interim?
 
Can anyone recommend a specialist in the midlands area, dealers are quoting £811 for cambelt & waterpump.. (4yr old T6 with 40k miles). Don't mind travelling abit for good service. Have used Listers in Coventry and Parkway in Kettering before but not been overly happy with the service for the prices charged.

I've had consistently good service from Sunset VW in Derby who are an independent VW group specialist.
 
Hi - Just moved into the Stafford area. Can anyone recommend garages for T6 servicing in the area.
Had issues with the “stealers” up in Stoke previously when we bought the T6, so don’t fancy using them.

Mine goes to midland VW from Tamworth. I've used them the last 10 years for all my vag stuff. They are doing a few transporters now. They really know there stuff

I can thoroughly recommend @Deaky 's recommendation, I would never go anywhere else! Parking can be a bit tight, but they won't, certainly won't, rip you off. Nice little cafe a minutes walk away while you wait.

Another for midland vw they have just bought a unit in leamore walsall so they’ll be opening up there too soon .
