Hi guys,

If in the process of putting in a pop top or insulation etc and the converter does damage to the vehicle (say a screw through a loom or something). Is there any protection to get it sorted?

cheers,
Lewis

You should expect them to put it right. It needs to come back to you in as good a condition as you left it with them.

Any converter worth their salt wouldn’t even quibble about it. Simple as that.

If you advise them of where you have run cables, etc, then I would expect a converter to rectify it if they do damage something.

A converter isn't a mind reader and won't know what you've been up to in the van (although i suppose at the point of insulating or installing a roof, the van should be fairly empty and easy to spot) so it would be best practice to let them know of anything to be aware of while carrying out the works.

If they damage something thats installed as standard in the van, they yes, they should put it right.
