Hi all I have the ctek 250se installed and have read the Manual but still not sure
Q. If I put a internal battery charger on it as in the instructions will it charge (on hook up) the leisure battery till full and then charge the starting battery after ?
Q if I install a solar panel will it charge both batteries like above
Or just leisure battery and can I just put the panel output directly into the ctek ?
Many thanks

- if you put a EHU battery charger connected to the starter battery, then the voltage rises to 13.1 for 5s the cteck will start charging the Aux battery. . . . .
- if EHU connected to Aux battery, the ctek will not reverse charge the starter . . . (thats solar only)

- yes - with solar it will charge Aux, then when full the Starter

as above . . .

put the panel direct on the ctek, providing thepanel VOC is below 23v VOC

or connect a seperate solar controller to the Aux, or starter battery . .

Thanks @Dellmassive I didnt know about the EHU charging part, I can use my 50w panel for the starter battery, leaving the charger to top up the leisure battery as required. Always learn something or perhaps read the bloody instructions properly

50w might be a bit low....

It might give you a trickle charge..... but you get the idea.

200w and your cooking . . . .

Yep 50w just connected to dash 12v socket and 240w to the Ctek.

Perfect.....

Thatll keep the beers cold nicely...
