Looking for something to mount winter tyres on.

Would i need different wheel nuts?

I've just replaced my Devonports for a set of these. The wheel nuts are different but I don't know why, maybe thickness of the rim ?

Just be aware if you have the bigger brakes, that they are the higher rated rim.

it may be cheaper to find a good second hand set with winter tyres or original Conti Vectors already fitted, average about £400.

I had a T5.1 180 with the big brakes and it had those steels fitted from the factory
I sold them to a member on here for his caravelle exec

There's a few sets on eBay now. Just search VW Transporter Steels 17

Plus a brand new set on Gumtree for £500, but depends on your location because they are in Kent.

Took me a while but I bagged a set with new tyres for £270, Paisley freight are highly recommended if you need a courier, only £30 to deliver a set.
