How long has it taken you?
What parts did you make from scratch?
What parts did you buy ready-made to save time?

I bought a sliding sofa-bed frame and pre-cut ply panels and ply flooring, everything else has been made from scratch.
I'm at 300 hours and still not quite finished.

I made all my furniture and floor from scratch. I had the pop-top and Reimo 3000 sliding bed fitted. The Reimo has to be done by the qualified fitter. Everything else I did myself.

If I was doing it again, I would learn CAD properly, and have the ply panels CNC cut. I would also fit the roof myself, then I could be extra fussy about keeping everything clean and rock solid.

In terms of elapsed time, the van arrived in September, and it was more or less done by Easter.

The design and research time was a significant part of the effort, which would be much quicker second time around.

I haven't kept a track so it's difficult to quantify, but around 100 hours at an estimation. Half of that was ripping the blooming racking out I think.

Most things were bought pre-made though the Evo kitchen took quite some assembly.

Only other things I can think of are the ply panels which I cut myself and the modification to the spare wheel carrier.
