How long approx is it going to take...

To sound deaden and insulate our Kombi, just side panels, tailgate and wheel arches? (I'm going to do the roof and floor later).

I know it's a bit of a "how long is a piece of string" question, but I've only got 1 and a bit spare days to do the work before we head off on a 1400 mile round trip. Currently the van is ply lined from new and only two years old with low milage so I'm hoping it wont take much cleaning once the ply is off. Its got the rubber floor and Kombi seats so I'm hoping with the just the main panels and arches done, it will be bearable on a long trip. Thanks

If you start early you’d get it done in a day.
Degrease the panels 1st then away you go. Wear gloves though as the edges of the soundproofing sheets are sharp!

Thanks, and thanks for the tip about gloves, my hands are pretty soft these days, no manual work and office based for a few years!
