How do I change the time?

ok stupid question but do I change the time on the radio or on the MFSW?

I looked through the menu but probably missed it,

I press the button by the instrument glass, it has a clock on it.

I have an option for daylight saving on the MFD, but ticking this moved the time an hour forward rather than an hour back.

Depends on your setup, its either as above or there is an entry in the main MFD menu that says 'time' and can be adjusted in there
I wont lie i spent several minutes earlier looking for the time in the headunit menu

I mess about with clocks all day just turn ignition on and press left button on clock until time is desplyed then adjust with button on right

But why do we have to change the time? Many radios pick the time up and set themselves so its a shame that not even the discovery media radio does this. I've got a 14 year old farm tractor with a radio that corrects it's own time.

Thanks, the misses sussed it, I was going through the Media menu..buttons seemed too obvious.

Was surprised I had to do the van's clock manually. My 'half-the-price' Kia does it automatically from time on its Satnav. Thought the T6 would have done the same.
In the end just used the button on the dash - way quicker that scrolling through MFD menus.

Agree. Definitely should/could change time automatically, perhaps the T7 then.

Information electronics module (5F) has an adaptation channel IDE00346 - Summertime-automatic, which was from factory at "none". Changed it to "Europe" and it has been now on that setting over two transitions but nothing happened neither in spring nor now. Probably van's time master module is not "date aware" so there is no way to make this change happen even though the radio has the time and date available through RDS data.

I have the media unit set to use GPS time but you still need to set daylight saving in and out as the media unit doesn't have a calendar to store the specific days we change.
