Hi, new T6.1 owner

Hi, new T6.1 owner here.
We took ownership of our 2024 T6.1 camper (swb, manual, two tone - candy white/ascot grey) on Friday.
Only 200 delivery miles on the van but annoyingly have a yellow engine light on already, fault code is P0401 exhaust gas recirculation flow insufficient detected so now need to ring up about that Monday morning.
Hoping this isn't a sign of things to come!

I take it you're scanning it with something to get the fault code? I'm also a new 6.1 owner ...

Ah right, have you tried clearing the fault code?

Mines also a '24 manual, so much to learn about these things! I use obd11 and I think there was something about the egr when I scanned it last but no lights so I'm ignoring it.

I could clear it but as its under warranty I feel it might be best to get it checked out anyway.

Is yours a camper or just the van?
I'd have liked an auto but it was almost a 10k jump which I couldn't justify.

Yeah if it's under warranty then make the dealer look at it and log it even if they just clear it and send you away again then at least you've reported it should it come back again .
Get all these niggles sorted while it's under warranty and hopefully less for you to pay out for afterwards....leaves you more money for all the other goodies you want/NEED . 🤩

Mine's an 'activity' van, not full camper. Single bed that slides out to a double (Woody's Wagons) and removable cooker/sink/storage pod (actually an old rock band flight case).

Nothing else at the moment. I do need more storage but also need to fit in paragliding and Paramotoring gear.

Drive a couple of autos (150 and 204) when I was looking for a van to buy but much prefer manual.

That's what i love about the vans, the ability to have a layout that suits everyone's different needs. We went for the camper as we know the kids will absolutely love it :).
What didn't you like about the auto's out of interest?

100% agree, will ring them this afternoon.

I think I just don't like Autos mainly. I find the driving experience more 'direct' in a manual. Plus there's extra cost and servicing for an auto ... don't trust 'em 😁
